Since the age of 13 I have had an ever-increasing interest in photography. It is, however, only in the last year or so when I've taken it a bit more seriously, buying a DSLR and a couple of lenses. Now I'm at the stage where I'm looking to expand on my small kit but at the age of 17 this seems very difficult. At the moment I am making do with what I have and trying my best to improve my photography. Looking back I can see how far I've come with regards to my skill as a photographer and hope that in a years time I can still look back and see great improvement.

My inspiration comes mainly from emotions, music and beauty in all forms which I hope is expressed through my work. My reason for taking photos is because I love it: I love the fun of planning and carrying out shoots, processing the photos and looking at the final product. If I didn't enjoy what I'm doing as much as I do then I would never be able to motivate myself to do it.
